Awards Update
Before we get to the awards updates, we have to address the games of the day. We had some upsets (were they upsets though?). We had the Sooners dropping a game against Mizzou Tigers. This result will ensure that the new Mizzou coach will have some wiggle room when things go sideways. The loss knocked the Sooners so far back in terms the running for the NC game. The Sooners dropped back to hang around with the Golden Bears in 10 (for now). I wonder which of the Big East teams will still be in the top 5 come the end of the season. Okay enough of that, lets get to he awards.
780 yards, really, 780 yards on another human coach. I know he is rebuilding but DAMN. That is a lot of yards to give up to one guy. Jeremy had a great day today. The Big East had a great day today, the conference collected both awards for player of the week. I wonder if this will get Jeremy up the ladder for the Heisman.
I think it is safe to say UNC has figured it out. They are now just rolling and stacking up W, and their players are winning awards. We have two Douglas fellas on the list today and they are on the opposite sides of the ball.
Douglas Wilson carried the Mizzou Tigers over the Sooners today. He was a threat coming out of the backfield and the blitz did not stop him. It seems as if today the best offensive players were RBs, shows you how important they are and why we see so many battles for them during recruiting.
Jeremy might be in the best position to win the Heisman. He has a loaded schedule left and if he performs well then I think it is safe to say he will win the award.
Jerome keeps holding his own in the number two spot. Though as everyone knows number two is just the first loser. He still has the rest of the season to move into the number one position.
No movement and much to talk about here.
William Howard has shot up the list. He had a great game and I think he will have tough competition for the rest of the way but with his skills and his coach gameplanning he will stay on this list and maybe move up.
Super Mario will be going through the Big East and I think he will be able to lead this team far.
John Dailey did not have a great day, his team did not win and it all falls on his head.
Important to load up on good DBs, they might be able to get you a few extra possessions in a game and those might be the difference between winning and losing the NC.
There is a Sim AI RB on the list, come on guys. Get to using your RBs.
I love that Troy State has guys on almost every list. Great work Ben.
Which of these guys will the Cowboys go after to replace Dez?
I see franchise QBs everywhere.
James Moses could not do much to stop the Mizzou Tigers. Come on James, didn't the coach say blitz. It is in his name.
I wonder if having two players in the running for player of the year will tear the USC dressing room apart.
It's Friday so this will be a short one, until the next time, take it easy.
