Jabbering JAG (Ahh The Championship)

Well gentlemen, I like you all will be watching this one from the couch. Congratulations on the win vikesrule! To my foes in the playoffs before him, great games guys.

What a fun matchup we have in this one. The championship will run through Texas as it has for the last 7 seasons. The defending champs looking to repeat against an old champion looking to "rebuild" the dynasty. I'm terribly sorry this got out so late.

The Game: Texas Southern vs Texas State

The Stats:

O - TSt 44 ppg and 478 ypg. TSo 67 ppg and 619 ypg.

D - TSt 10 ppg and 272 ypg. TSo 17 ppg and 340 ypg.

The Coaches: vikesrule69 (5-3) vs. phimutau

The Path:

For Texas State they come in having one really tough game though the playoffs. In the other three they scored over 40 points and they have held everyone they played in the playoffs to 21 points or less.

For Texas Southern they come in having scored 41 or more points and four or more passing touchdowns in every playoff game. They have had one game in the playoffs within one score.

The Take: This game will feature two coaches who have really proven themselves to be great at this game. They have combined for the last 7 championships combined and another will be added to that total but to whose trophy case? Another great game featuring great defense vs great offense. Don't get me wrong, both of these teams are solid across the board on both sides of the ball but it is Texas State's defense against Texas Southern's offense.

The Prediction: I honestly have been debating this one all afternoon. I really think this will be a fantastic game and both coaches have done an amazing job to get here. Congratulations to you both!! My prediction for the season 137 national championship is Texas State-33 vs Texas Southern-31
