Jabbering JAG 135.4 (Where They Sit)
After a fun and exciting, action packed weekend of football I decided to do a quick segment on where teams stand in the conference title hunt. I will talk briefly about each division and who has a shot to take the division and possibly the conference crown. We are winding down here on season 135 and there is still so much action to be a part of.
A10
East
A tight race still here. Villanova and William & Mary sit atop this division. These two teams will do battle to decide the division champion tomorrow. Coach dukelegend leads the series against go4itjim 1-0. William & Mary has won the division 6 straight times and the conference 3 of those times including 2 straight.
West
Maine and Florida Atlantic are the only two teams competing in this division. They play in a couple of days and it will be the first meeting in Wilkinson for these two coaches. Maine will be looking to not only maintain the division champs title but also to be conference champions. Maine had won 7 of 8 A10 titles under coach chetty.
PREDICTION: William & Mary vs Maine
Big Sky
North
This division could be very interesting the rest of the season. It all depends how Cal Poly vs St. Mary’s turns out. If CP wins they have sims the rest of the way and will clinch a CC berth. If SMU wins it creates a 3-way tie which would then be even in the head to head tie break and then WIS rank would determine who would win the division.
South
This division is also going to have to wait to be determined. The leader, Texas State, has yet to play the humans in their division but that starts tomorrow. If Texas State beats Stephen F. Austin tomorrow then they will still have to beat Sam Houston State. If Stephen F. Austin wins tomorrow they will clinch the division as they have already beaten SHSU.

North
Youngstown State is the only human here.
South
This division comes down to Northern Iowa and Savannah State. These two teams meet in Savannah, GA tomorrow. Coach jddriscoll is 4-0 against the hosting coach in rusticity. Savannah State has only ever beaten UNI 2 times in the history of Wilkinson so things aren’t looking very promising.
PREDICTION: Youngstown State vs Northern Iowa

Eastern
Yale is the only human team here
Western
This division comes down to Princeton and Holy Cross. The two will do battle on 9/20 in Worcester, MA. Princeton has won the division 6 straight times and over that same span they have won the Ivy League 4 times. Holy Cross is a team that is building and could easily catch a team napping.

East
The only division with humans in it is going to come down to the wire. The final human vs human game is tomorrow when Norfolk State travels to Duquesne. If Norfolk wins they win the division and probably the conference title. If Duquesne wins it makes things interesting and creates a 3-way tie with Delaware State. The division winner would then come down to WIS rank.
West

PREDICTION: Norfolk State vs SC State

North
This division champion won’t be crowned until week 13. Albany will take on the leader, Robert Morris. These are two teams who have been pretty solid in recent years but Robert Morris has really started to improve. Both teams have good strength of schedules so they should be ready for the upcoming challenge.
South
Lehigh has this division locked up. Even if they were to lose to Central Connecticut in a couple of days they would still have fewer losses.

North
There is still a lot to happen in this division. We could have a 3-way tie here as well if things were to shape up a certain way. Marist, Tennessee Tech and Tennessee Martin are all in the hunt but things will probably come down to Tech and Marist. If neither team slips up from here on out Tech would win the division as they beat Marist today.
South
Right now, EKU leads the division but they have yet to play either human in the division. The division probably won’t be decided until week 12 or 13 depending on how things shake out. This conference is always tough to know who will come out on top as they are pretty loaded.
PREDICTION: Tennessee Tech vs Jacksonville State

North
Two undefeated teams here. Dayton and Drake should be able to preserve their undefeated conference record heading into their head to head matchup in week 12. Coach tpok is 1-0 against AlekTx2015 but Dayton is a team that is supposed to make a lot of noise come post season.
South
This division comes down to Jacksonville and Charleston Southern who will play tomorrow. Charleston Southern has not won the division under saf99me and they would really like to change that. Jacksonville is under first year coach, timberdrive and the Dolphins are loaded with talent.
PREDICTION: Dayton vs Jacksonville

East
Georgia Southern and Western Carolina are the two teams here who have a shot to make the conference title. Both teams are undefeated and will meet in a couple of days. These two teams represent the last 2 conference champions and it looks like the conference title might run through the East again this season.
West
As it sits right now, East Tennessee State has this thing locked up. However, if Northwestern State wins out, which would include a win over ETSU, things get very interesting. A 3-way tie would be created with Elon in that scenario and WIS rank would determine the tie-break.
PREDICTION: Georgia Southern vs East Tenn. State
SWAC
East
Mississippi Valley State is the leader on this side right now. They still have a matchup with the long running division champs, Alabama A&M. As long as these two can take care of the sims they have on the schedule this division will be decided in week 13 in Itta Bena.
West
Texas Southern and Arkansas Pine-Bluff are in the driver’s seat at the moment. Both teams are undefeated but don’t count out surprise team, Grambling State just yet. Texas Southern and Ark PB play tomorrow and the winner will be clearly the front runner in the division.
