Division Maze Run
We just finished the cross division games and are now into the division games. Nobody cares about the division games, we want those cross division games, they might give us a precursor to the conference title game. They allow for within conference bragging rights and for those who do not make the conference title game that might be it. We are going to look at those games and see which divisions are better. We are only interested in games that involved human coaches because well I am doing the work and that is what I am interested in.
We start off with the ACC and there is no real way to separate these guys. For the cross division human game there was complete parity with these guys. No division holds the upper hand, they had the same number of wins. I am sure we could look at the scores to try and separate the divisions but why do that, let them share the spoils. We have some good coaches in this conference, though some are better than others.
BIG XII has clear superiority in one division over another. I am proud to say my former division has the upper hand in the BIG XII. They had Texas leading the way, and I think the Longhorns might be back in the groove. I would not mind putting money on them for a national title run, they will most likely meet with Colorado and coach lyonzfan37 in the conference title and whoever comes out of that game goes to the big dance. Colorado was the only one to win from the North division whilst the rest of his division had a losing record against the South. What about that Colorado squad though, they are outperforming themselves this year or are they on schedule? We might need to have a sit down with coach lyonzfan37 to put these questions to him.
The Big East is full so you know there are plenty of cross division games here. We have a clear better division in this conference, all hail to the Big East, Eastern division. They had two teams go undefeated in the cross division games and also a team that lost all of their cross division games. I am not sure who in the East division is the better team between Syracuse and Rutgers. Both are good programs with good coaches but if I really had to pick one I would have to go with z32 and his 'Cuse boys. He is also sniffing around that national title game but the has some tough games coming up.
B1G is loaded with elites and they are all ranked. But hits season the king out of all of them in the cross division games is Notre Dame. They went undefeated in their cross division games. The team to beat them is Penn State who also were undefeated in their single game with a human coach from the other side. The South held it down in the B1G conference this year. Might we see a national champ out of the conference. With all the talk of coach tkechub retiring might this be the year he goes out on a high with a national title? His squad is looking good.
He leads the way in his division in the Conf-USA, coach buck18 and his UAB squad. He went 2-0 like his fellow division mate coach ebel. They both lead their division to superiority in the conference. This conference is one to keep an eye out for because there are a lot of teams who are doing well. All but one are likely to make the post season this year. And that should help them on the recruiting trail as this will have some extra money to blow.
In the MAC the division with the bragging rights is the East division. They are lead by the man who comes through with the media guides for us every season. Coach gt_deuce is in a tight division with legends and thus far he is yet to taste defeat in conference plays. On the West side Ball State also have yet to taste defeat this season in conference play. An interesting conference to keep an eye on as these coaches get their teams built up.
The South side of the PAC-10 is king out West. They went 5-3 against the human coaches from the North. The South is loaded with coach ez37, hitman, awaskow, all legendary coaches and they are all in the same division, that is not good news for the other division. The other division has coach jasonfreeman who always comes through, still undefeated in conference play and this yer far from the sharp end of the rankings which is weird to say.
The SEC is like being thrown into a shark tank as there are great coaches everywhere you look. For a division to have a winning record against the human coaches from the other side is something else, so with that said, well done Eastern division, you have done it. You managed to have a winning record against a division with coach awags, mpmershon and wareagle389. That is not an easy feat. I fully expect the Western division to turn things around next season.
The West coming through and taking care of business in the Sun Belt. The two human coaches only gave up a single win to the other side. The four coaches from the Eastern division have work to do against these two from the West. The West might consider adding a few more human coaches to try and completely defeat the East. Guys you better get on the recruiting trail for more human coaches.
The WAC which is never wack is looking interesting this year. There no separating the two divisions, they went 2-2. But enough about that, is it Pete time yet? It is sure looking like it. Just knocking on the top 10 door this year. It is his 4th year with the team this year and things seem to have turned around in the right direction already, I can not wait to see what he can do as the season go on.
I know this was posted late but hey you know what they say, better late than never. We should be coming to you on the regular now that the weekend is over. We might be a bit late because like I said before you do not want to run too much out in the sun. Until the next time, take it easy.
