Maze Bowls

Yes, you read that right and I am not below going for the low hanging fruit. We have reached the end of the regular season and we are about to embark on part 2 of the season, the best part, the postseason. I hope you got a good chunk of postseason money to help with your recruiting battles next season. I know I got some predictions wrong in the conference titles games, remember I told you guys I do not know jack. We had some good games and I hope it continues into the bowl games. Today we are just going to look at the level 1 bowl games and try to give some more predictions even though they seem to be wrong more than not.

We are going to start off with the Fort Worth bowl game, featuring coach bullfrog’s Seminoles and coach BTINLA and his Ball State team. This will be the second meeting between the two coaches and coach bullfrog has a chance to square the series between them. The Seminoles had a rough season with their first-year coach who was coming out of retirement to try and lead them to the promised land. This game is a big drop in terms of the bowl game the Ads expected after last season, they both had higher bowl games so winning this is going to be more important than ever. Granted winning a bowl game just allows you to finish off the season on a high, with that in mind I think Ball State will finish the season on a high.

I love me some tangerines, they are easy to peel and they are always sweet. Who doesn’t like sweet stuff? Tangerines give you your potassium, fiber, and vitamins. I think everyone should have at least a few a day. Enough with dietary nonsense, it’s time to get back to football. In the Tangerine Bowl, we have Arkansas with coach ddeane1 taking on North Carolina with coach trmcco2. Who to put money on? History says put your money on coach ddeane, but I don’t know man. He is only in his first year with the team going up against a coach who has built his team for years now. That makes me think put your money on the guy who has built a program. With that in mind I think I will go with North Carolina.

We now move on to the Hawaii Bowl game. This is a good destination bowl game. You get a chance to hit up Hawaii and visit coach Pete to pick up some knowledge out in Hawaii.

We have coach slider4480 looking to bounce back from a conference title loss with his North Texas team. He is taking on coach buck18 with his UAB team. Coach buck is behind in the series meetings between the two coaches. I am sure he would want to come out on top in this one and paying a visit to Pete might be the trick needed to win the game as I do not think they will be able to do so. I think North Texas will just be too much for UAB in this one, but at least the players would have taken in some waves and rays out in Hawaii.

First year coach genuvar has managed to take his DePaul team to a bowl game. Now I don’t know about you but that is impressive to me. He had some signature wins in there too. He is going to be taking on coach knightsaynih and his Wildcats team. The Wildcats and their coach have been together for a while now and that should give them the advantage in this game. With that said coach genuvar has shown he can win games when everyone writes him off so I am going to put money on him winning this one.

I know you are shaking your head but think about it this is a coach who took a team that has only had 4 human coaches including him and has taken it to a bowl game in his first year. DePaul all the way in this one.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but this will not stay in Vegas. Coach gimpy_88 and his Boise State boys better behave and the same is true for coach b1297 and his East Carolina team. This will be the third meeting between the two coaches and the Boise coach is trailing, and this is a chance to get that first win on the board. The guys in Vegas have Boise as favorites and they are playing in Vegas, I think the universe has everything lined up for Boise and now it is just a matter of getting the right gameplan in for coach gympy. I am sure coach b1297 wants to keep his winning streak going against his counterpart and I am sure he will try this very best but I don’t think it will be enough for them in this one.

We have another party city hosting a bowl game. I have never been there but I have heard this is one hell of party city. I think both teams should have parades for just making it to the game. Temple with coach fermor needed to have a great season this year and I think it is safe to say they kinda did but they have to finish strong by winning this game. They did not finish the season well as they lost their last 3 games. That is not good form to take into a bowl game. On the other sideline, we have coach timberdrive and his Midshipmen. They had an okay season with some tough losses and also close losses. The close ones always hurt the most I think. I think this is going to be a close one, with Navy just edging it. It takes a lot to get out of bad form and with the lights on your it is not the time to try and get back into form.
