Jabbering JAG 128.1

.......I know, I know you all missed me soooo much this offseason. Well you don't have to worry anymore! I'm back and ready to rock in season 128 and I'm going to be here with you all throughout the season to bring you exciting stories, updates and predictions. I will not, however, be there for you after you get owned by pete and orangepace again in DIAA or by ez and bkdries in DIA. Since it is later in the evening I am just going to try to find some of the better games and keep things a bit basic tonight. Plus, I have had a couple rusty nails and I don't know how long I can focus.

DIA

UConn vs Duke - A very good coach back in Wilkinson against a coach who as already impressed people at his new squad. Both teams coming off solid recruiting periods and would like to keep momentum rolling with a win. Duke-27 vs UConn-24

Colorado vs Colorado State - One team needing to get back to the .500 category and another who is just happy to have a human back at the helm. Rocky Mountain Showdown in week one, this one is sure to entertain. CU-30 vs CSU-21

Nebraska vs Ohio State - Ohio State rolled Nebraska in real life, willgibson would really like to fair better against bomber. This is the 6th meeting between these coaches. Neb-24 vs OSU-23

Memphis vs Ball State - Two interesting mid-majors here. Both teams coming off bowl wins last season and looking to assert themselves amongst the world's mid-major elites. A win over a solid opponent like this could make waves for the victor's season. Mem-35 vs Ball-24

Florida vs Minnesota - SEC vs B1G, a competition that is always going on in GD whether or not the team's really want it to. Conferences loaded with elites and solid teams like these. Florida has NEVER beaten Minnesota before. UF-28 vs Minn-24

DIAA

Texas State vs Tennessee Tech - Two DIAA power teams in DIAA. OP has controlled the coaching series but Tex St would love to play spoiler. Are things big enough in Texas? TTech-30 vs Tex St-24

Alabama A&M vs Harvard - One team maybe "turned the corner" last season and the other is still looking to find their footing and make a deep playoff run. A&M-34 vs Havahd-10

Duquesne vs Drake - Two top 10 GUESS ranked teams who need an early statement. One coach just moved up from DII and the other has been around the block a few times. Both need a strong statement win. Drake-28 vs Duq-17

Appalachian State vs Southeast Missouri - One coach comes out of retirement and takes over in his first year. Another who has been with his team for many seasons and has been up and down. Can the "new guy" adapt to the new Wilkinson powers? SMSU-33 vs App St-20

Eastern Illinois vs William & Mary - Two teams who are coming off two straight, first round playoff losses. One team is rebuilding, the other has under-performed. EIU-30 vs WM-17
