We are now in the thick of conference play and are down to twelve undefeated teams in DIA and only six in DIAA. The Pac-10 seems to be the best conference by far and for DIAA the OVC is currently behind what appears to be a loaded Big Sky conference. Now let's get down to business. Just another short one tonight as I have to get my drink on.
#2 South Florida @ #11 Rutgers - Two WIS top 10 offenses go head to head tomorrow. This game has significant national title implications as the winner may very well have a spot in the dance. These offenses boast QBs who are currently #2 and #3 in total passing yards, who are a combined 67-1 touchdown to interception ratio. Rutgers has dominated the series over the Bulls but awags holds the coaching head to head by one game. Will defenses actually show up or will Christmas come early with all of the lights on the scoreboard?... USF-202 vs Rut-200, ok seriously... USF-38 vs Rut-35
#19 Washington hosting #23 Stanford - Statistically this game looks very lopsided but when you dig a little deeper and see the difference in strength of schedule. U Dub comes in with three solid wins but will be looking to rebound after a brutal loss yesterday. The Cardinal come in with only one loss on the season but their six wins are against zero... count em again.... zero teams with winning records. Will the aerial assault of Stanford finally prove themselves as they face a team who will control the clock and use a balanced attack... Wash-24 vs Stan-23
#9 Northwestern State @ #23 Georgia Southern - Two teams who represent the cellar dwellars in terms of conference ranking. They may play for a weaker conference but these two teams are no joke. Ga Southern comes in with two losses on the board but they were competitive games against teams currently in the top 15. NWSU is undefeated but still looking for a "signature win." They have played some solid teams but none currently in the top 25. These two teams use polar opposite offenses and that will be key because each is the other style's weakness... NWSU-28 vs GASOUTH-24
#10 Tennessee Tech @ #17 Southeast Missouri State - SMSU seems to be really living up to potential this season, something that has been finally actually coming along the last couple of seasons. TTech is off to a bit rougher of a start than usual but I'm sure OP has something up his sleeve and we all know he will perform come playoffs. Tech is by far the more battle tested team as they boast the #2 SOS. SMSU has played one team currently in the top 25 and is 0-1, TTech is 1-2 against the top 25 on their schedule thus far. Which one will add a W in the column tomorrow?... TTech-30 vs SMSU-20
Sorry phimutau I don't think our game will even be close
