Welcome to the Big Sky

In season 120, the Big Sky Conference was fortunate to add justaguy to the staff at Cal Poly. He continued his success as a head coach for the Mustangs, leading them to the second round of the playoffs. He scored some major victories in his first season at the helm, defeating Columbia 42-37. A very gutsy performance by the coach and players. In the playoffs, he defeated Jacksonville State 52-24 to lead the Mustangs into the round of 16. The future is bright in San Luis Obispo.

Heading into season 121, the Big Sky Conference is proud to announce two new additions to the

conference. Cal State Sacramento was lucky enough to pluck an up and coming coach from the Gateway Conference as lgftw comes to the Hornets from Southern Utah. lgftw has been a consistent playoff coach in the lower levels and is looking forward to the challenge at Sacramento State.

The Big Sky scored a major coup as Northern Arizona was able to lure treyomo to come to Flagstaff, spurring offers from schools in the Ohio Valley Conference and the Atlantic 10 Conference. Treyomo is the most accomplished coach in the conference, with 15 National Championships under his belt. He inherits a roster that has some talent, but missed having a head coach last season, so he'll be hard at work to replenish last seasons freshman class.
