Time for the next update on coaching moves from Coach Jeff's Office. Let's dig right in...
Notable Hires
Northwood - Northwood makes an outstanding hire by bringing in wareagle. War eagle is infamous for receiving the same exact punishment for having two user names as Tigerpark, despite no apparent evidence of impropriety other than not having 1,000 miles between his two teams. What you need to know is that he is an outstanding coach and won a NC at West Georgia a few years back. I fully expect Northwood to be in the NC picture in D2 this season. Speaking of West Georgia, someone pick those guys up!! More on that later.
Henderson State - The jewel of the GSC hired GD celeb mojolad who comes back to Wilk for the first time since season 111. Mojo hasn't won a title in Wilk, but has 34 titles across the other worlds. Another situation of an elite program hiring an elite coach.
Findlay - Findlay nabs Wilk journeyman coach hogly22. Hogly has shown solid gameplanning in the past and is now handed a nice Findlay roster. We will see if he can keep this program rolling.
Stonehill - I think the greatness of Stonehill's hire may be flying under the radar a little bit. They were able to hire alphaflight away from Syracuse (right...D-IA). Alpha has nearly 500 wins in Wilk including stints at Michigan State and Navy. Also, he won two NCs at South Dakota in season 114 and 116. This is a sneaky great hire that has been overshadowed by the return of nelsonba and mojo.
Tarleton State - Leahy's biggest mouth piece, AlekTx2015, was hired by Tarleton. Many of you may know that Alek joining Wilk was the result of losing a bet to True Devil. Now it appears that he is working his way up the ranks and he has a solid program at Tarleton. I hope he has success and moves up to the Big Sky just so I can pull out my popcorn and watch the drama unfold!
Kentucky State - go4itjim went for it and accepted the job at Kentucky State. Kentucky State is a pretty solid roster in the SIAC. Jim is a relatively new coach so we will see what he is able to bring to the table here.
Truman State - After amassing 6 CCs at D3, paulsuberlak is ready to test himself at D2. Rumor has it that he interviewed for the jobs at Slippery Rock and Henderson State before being hired. Fresh hire here for Truman as they try to wash of the stench of Tigerpark.

West Georgia - So in a surprise to everyone and myself, I moved up and took the job at Stephen F. Austin. My West Georgia team isn't the jewel that Henderson or Northwood are, but it's a solid team in the best conference in D2 (my opinion). If you look at their record last year, the losses were all to high level programs (Slippery Rock, Texas A&M Kingsville, Henderson State, and Valdosta State). Basically, what I'm saying is that someone needs to grab my boys so they don't stay SIM!!!
