Jabbering JAG 128.5

Let's start tonight off with taking a look at all of the undefeated teams and whether or not I think they will finish the regular season undefeated.

A couple of days ago there was double, if not more, the number of undefeated teams in DIA. After nine games in the season there are only three!...

#1 California - One tough game against a 5-4 coached human team. The Bears could lose it but based on how they have performed against stronger opponents I think the Cal Bears will finish 13-0.

#3 Penn State - This team has looked unstoppable all season but they still have their toughest tests of the conference season to go. I think the Nittany Lions will get through one of those games but not both. Penn State finishes 12-1.

#8 Texas - The Longhorns look to be back. If the team had drawn tougher games in inter-division play of conference play this team would be top 5. They still have two tough games left and Oklahoma seems to be their Kryptonite. I think the Texas Longhorns find a way to get it done and finish the season 13-0.

There are a plethora of undefeated squads in DIAA and they span a wide range in the rankings. How many of these teams will finish unblemished...

#1 Howard - A team we knew was on the rise and has been competitive the last several seasons but where they sit now, some might have been skeptical. After a six human stretch the Bison will wait for another real test as they only have sims left. Howard finishes 13-0.

#2 Eastern Kentucky - Pete has the Colonels rockin' and rollin' again this season. The team has one tough game left this season but EKU hasn't shown much weakness. This talented and well coached team will finish the season 13-0.

#3 Youngstown State - Always one of the toughest teams in Wilkinson and they proved themselves in both non-conference and conference play. The Penguins rolled through their competition and now get to coast into the post season vs sims. YSU coasts to a 13-0 finish.

#4 Alabama A&M - This squad marched through a tough non-conference and it's a good thing they did. The Bulldogs only have sims remaining on their schedule so they can sit back, relax and let out a sigh of relief as they finish 13-0.

#6 Maine - A team who was expected by some to have a down season. This team has already gone through some pretty tough games and they still have a couple circled on the schedule. I think chetty's coaching carries the Black Bears to a 13-0 finish.

#7 Texas Southern - A second undefeated team in the SWAC. TSU has only had one game that was closer than 10 points. This team looks tough and has gone through everything except for one remaining human opponent who I think they can manage with the offense they have. TSU remains unbeaten this season, 13-0.

#8 Dayton - The PFL is loaded this season. Dayton has already marched through some tough competition but they still have two real tests left this season. I think they are competitive in both games but come out of this thing 12-1.

#10 Villanova - This team hasn't batted an eye in any of their games this season but is still looking for a "signature win." This team could easily manage the rest of their schedule and I believe that they will and Villanova finishes 13-0.

#11 San Diego - San Diego has played five human opponents but only two of those teams currently have winning records. SD is always a tough out and grindi is a great coach but I think they still have work to do on the roster and that will cost San Diego down the road and result in a 11-2 finish.

#13 Florida International - This team has played strong but they have not played a single human opponent this season. They have at least one legit test left that will take quite a bit to come out on the winning end. FIU finishes the season 12-1.

#17 Grambling State - This squad has played lights out all season. Their toughest games of the year are still ahead of this team. Love what this team is doing but I think their last two humans are just too much to handle and the Tigers finish the year 11-2.

#20 Penn - Bhazlewood has Penn absolutely rolling. They still have three humans on the schedule this season and I don't think we have seen enough to believe they make it through all of those game. Penn loses at least one in the final three, I call their finish to the season 11-2.

#24 Montana State - This squad still has two tough games left on the season. They have already been tested this season as they cruised through two human opponents with that stingy defense. The Fighting Bobcats find a way to claw it out and finish 13-0.
